Taking Pause
Things are a little bit surreal at this moment.
Caught Persepolis last night.
Before that, visited the Art Museum at NUS. Ng Eng Teng's work is fascinating. I was stricken with awe esepcially with The Final Masterpiece. It's a little bit of a contrived idea - a little gimmicky - but it worked. Wondrously. All his pain and suffering, caused by the disease, captured in a frame of glass and wood.
The things that keep you up at night are not the ghosts and demons in this world. It's the little things that nibble at the back of your mind. Finances. Disease. What ifs.
Oh, and it has been raining non-stop for the past couple of weeks. It's like December. Last week's shoot at Punggol was almost ruined:

It's not at all satisfactory. One of these days I'd need to stick to the plan and ditch everything and take the plunge. Take a deep breath. Fill your lungs. And just think about executing the perfect dive; try not to think of the possibility of striking headfirst into the floor at the bottom.
Rosebud.
