Punggol
Headed down to Punggol to scout for shoot locations today. I swear I'd never use the Picture Styles function again - all it ever does is to accentuate blue cast and make people's faces turn tomato red.
Took the chance to experiment with some HDR:

Pretty fun stuff. I like the name of the place - Punggol End. It almost sounds like a place in a fantasy novel, and it's probably one of the most remote corners in Singapore. It's also the place where hundreds of Chinese were massacred during the Japanese Occupation. Apparently, you can still stumble on human bones in the area.

And god, I can't believe the dust on my camera sensor. At F22, everything shows up in full dirty glory. You learn something new everyday.
Dropped by Bugis to pick up new cologne after the shoot. Was intending to get something new but changed my mind after Dot recognized Kenzo Air (hey, this smells like you!). I had been using the damn fragrance for 2 years. It's pretty fine for a day to day fragrance, and better yet it was on sale.
Felt a little unexpected pang of hurt as I saw the photo on her latest entry. I thought I had it all behind me.
