Mortarboards Ascending

Covered my first graduation event today (haha, how did I miss taking one for so long?) and gotta say, I quite like it. I think it's probably the general atmosphere of accomplishment, headily mixed with the last day of school kinda vibe.

Kinda made me wish that I gone through one myself. Yuh, I know, I know - me can't study for nuts. Still.

Anyway, my favourite shot of the day:

Other than the *cough* D3 (which is awesomely gigantic and huge and imposing in real life, with that equally impressive Nikkor 24-70 ED lens), I liked how the arm signalled the throwing of the hats.
