Shots by the Trays

Dropped by Winebar @ Zouk after work last Friday. First time I had been there in years.

Sometimes things seem to go in repetitive cycles.

I wonder what it all means.

Each time a cycle starts, I try a little harder. Try to make up for things that went wrong previously. But invariably something else fails, because each cycle is never the same, so you can't approach it the same way you did the other.

It is naive to believe that by avoiding conflict, we also steer clear of resentment and other assorted strains of negativity.

Perhaps one cannot exist without the other.
