Nick Knight

My absolute favourite big-name mainstream photographer at the moment. The guy's a true genius - both technically and creatively:

Got reminded of his work through a small mention of his recent shoot with Victoria Beckham, and indeed she never looked better in a picture. Can't find decent scans but here's the official making-of video. Requires Quicktime to run.

To detract a bit, I'm thinking of fixing my workout routine. Things had been going increasingly wacky ever since True Fitness shut its doors. Until now I still don't know why I want to keep at this - it often reeks of narcissism, vanity, takes up time and money.

It's one more thing that I don't feel like settling for with mediocre results.
